PANDA Soldering System Wins the 2020 New Product Introduction Award presented by UP Media Group & Circuits Assembly Magazine.
The 2020 IPC APEX Expo has officially come to a successful end. Attendies from all over the globe collect on the expo floor to view a variety of new products and emerging technologies within the electronics manufacturing industry. On Tuesday February 4th, 2020, Circuits Assembly Magazine & UP Media Group hosted the 2020 SEA and NPI Awards Ceremonies at 10:00AM PST.
What are the NPI Awards?
CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY'S New Product Introduction (NPI) Awards recognize the leading new products for electronics assembly during the past 12 months. Awards are selected by an independent panel of practicing industry engineers, and are presented by CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY.
Judges have been chosen by CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY from a pool of experienced, practicing industry engineers with no affiliation to any of the entrants. CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY will tabulate all scores. Judges' scores are final; judges will not be made available to communicate with entrants.

Expected reliability

PROMATION USA’s President (Gary Goldberg), Vice President (Mike Goldberg), and Domestic Sales Manager (Kevin Brennan) attended the awards ceremony on Tuesday, where they laid claim to the 2020 NPI Award for the Best Alternative Soldering Technology Category with the new PANDA Soldering System.
The Panda Soldering Platform features a variety of innovative programming methods for robotic soldering; while also features an innovate data aggregation/collection software portion that leads users closer towards achieving Industry 4.0 and beyond. This award comes as PROMATION USA has notoriously developed new products every other year for new introduction into the micro-electronics manufacturing market.
